I believe God does not lie!
|
In Ezekiel 34:16,God promises to shepherd his people. This action will include:
*searching for the lost
*giving them rest (have them lie down)
*bringing back the strays
*binding up the injured
*strengthening the weak
*giving them justice
|
I believe God's sense of justice is best found in Isaiah 58.
*treating workers fairly
*seeking peace among the brethern
*humility before Him
*loosing the chains of injustice
*removing heavy yokes
*setting the oppressed free
*sharing food with the hungry
*providing shelter to the poor/wanderer
*clothing those in need
*treating our own flesh and blood with fairness
*ceasing to point fingers and malicious talk
*keeping of the sabbath
*ceasing to do as I please and doing what He pleases

If we will offer God's justice, He has promised:
*that our light will break forth like the dawn
*that our healing will appear quickly
*our righteousness will go before us
*His glory will be our rear guard
*we will call and he will answer
*He will guide us always and satisfy our needs
*He will strengthen our frame
*we will be like well-watered gardens, springs that don't fail
*we will rebuild ancient ruins and raise foundations, be called repairers of broken walls, restorers of streets with dwellings
*we will find our joy in Him
*He will cause us to ride on the heights of the land and feast on the inheritance of Jacob
